In radon mitigation system, the radon gas is removed from the basements to avoid its copiousness. It can be as danger as carbon dioxide. In this radon mitigation system, the installation depends on various factors i.e. age of building, type of floor, weather condition etc. So, before system installation, we have visual inspection to understand the condition of your place and after detailed visit we proposed you the best radon mitigation system suitable for your place.
The installation process consists of mainly three steps; drilling, piping and fan installment.
Drilling is the fundamental course involved in mitigation process. This process involves the drilling in the basement to access the ground. Drilling is done with mechanical drill bits and this process takes time. After drilling the outer side of hole is covered with the glue type material so the there is no leakage of the radon outside the assembly.
After drilling, the indoor piping assembly is installed. This assembly comprises of pipes and elbows. They are joined with each other in such a way that there is no more additional mutilation to house. The assembly is installed at yearning place in the house and once the indoor assembly is installed, next step is the installation of the fan is the outer assembly. The pipe diameter depends on the inlet and outlet of the fan because of the pipe diameter do not match with the fan inlet and outlet diameters them the assembly will not be effective and there will be leak of the radon gas along the pipe assembly which will not be vital for the optimal working of the radon mitigation system.
The fan is installed as the piping moved outside. Purpose of fan is to draft the gas from ground to move upward based on differential pressure. The fan is selected depending on the required amount of the gas to be removed (observed in the visual inspection). Once the fan is installed the outer piping is inserted straight upward.
Radon mitigation system installation is completed within a week. Radon mitigation system is the one-time investment to ensure the long-term life span of the place. If the mitigator system is not installed, it can be eventually dangerous to human and to place itself. During the installation of the assembly, the most significant thing is to overcome any kind of opening or cracks within the assembly because if there are openings and cracks, then there are chances that the assembly working efficiency is reduced. After installation of radon mitigation assembly, occasionally testing of the system is done to overview the working of the system and overcome and kind of problems. Cost of the radon system can vary from $1500 to $2500. Our radon mitigators are the best and only solution to the radon emission problems and we don’t compromise on any kind of detail no matter how small it is. We are working according to the rules and regulations of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
